23 Mar 2018 - The Woolwich Singers

A very special evening of music with our fantastic local community choir. Founded in May 2012, Woolwich Singers community choir has grown to accommodate over 50 members from across the community who come together once a week to sing their hearts out. The choir sings widely out and about in various venues in Woolwich and in London, including at the Greenwich and Docklands International Festival, the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London and on the pitch at the Olympic Park for the rugby league internationals.  Read more here >

Following on from the great success of the previous vintage and craft fair in November 2017, Do You Vintage returns for the first of four planned events this year. A fantastic and eclectic range of stalls selling vintage fashion, collectibles, books, posters, records and much more. 2 Mar 2018 - Rebels Without Paws - Quiz night

In June 2018 a team of seven local ladies with no previous rowing experience  will be rowing the English Channel to raise money for the Ahoy Centre, Deptford. The money raised through this challenge will provide vital funding to enable them to deliver life-changing training, courses and programmes to both vulnerable/disadvantaged young people and disabled people who need help and to be given an opportunity in life. We're hosting a quiz night to raise money and awareness to help them on their way.  Read more here >

An evening of Swing, Jazz, Blues and Jive with vocalist Steve Conway. Steve is a professional and highly talented Vintage Style Vocalist  who regularly performs throughout the UK and internationally, singing at weddings, corporate events, private parties, Film & Television in and around the South of England. A joint event between Shrewsbury House Community Association, Friends of Shrewsbury Park and Friends of Shrewsbury House featuring our very own home-grown, organic quiz master.
