An evening of music celebrating Jim Radford

Jim was a singer/songwriter, shanty man and lifelong campaigner for peace. He's believed to be the youngest particpant in the D-Day landings and his song "The Shores of Normandy" that he recorded for The Normandy Memorial Trust topped the Amazon and iTunes download charts on its release in 2019. He was a regular performer at Shrewsbury House and will be greatly missed.

Jim died in November 2020 and one year on we are celebrating his life with an evening of music performed by many of the people that sang and played with him regularly.

This event will take place on Friday 12th November. This is a pre-booked ticket only event and tickets are £5.00. The proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Veterans for Peace, the organisation he supported.

You can buy tickets here

More tickets for this event will be made available after 21st June if Covid restrictions are eased.

As some Covid restrictions may still be in place in November there won't be any tickets available on the door. Entry will be by pre-booked ticket only.
