Mindful Mums Club with Karen Farrell
Mindful Mums Club was created to help support new and expectant mums during their first 12 months of motherhood by teaching simple and practical mindfulness techniques  

Karen is a qualified mindfulness coach and mum of a two-year-old and newborn! Her passion for mindfulness started when she was on maternity leave in 2019 with her first child where she wanted to learn some tools and techniques to help her cope with the worries and stresses of being a first-time mum. 

Learning mindfulness helped Karen navigate her first year of motherhood by enabling her to deal with low mood, unhelpful thinking, overwhelm, anxiety and stress. Karen then decided to train as a mindfulness coach, and is now passionate about helping new and expectant mums look after their mental and emotional wellbeing during pregnancy and their baby’s first year.

Since becoming a mindfulness coach, Karen has been invited to speak at numerous events such as the Salford University Professional Development Summit and the National Sales and Growth Event where she talks about resilience, positive thinking and the power of mindfulness. 

When she’s not looking after her family, Karen can be found taking long walks in nature, practising mindfulness and enjoying the present moment!
