This is a friendly group of yoga students where newcomers are welcome. Yoga will help you keep healthy in both mind and body. Yoga can greatly enhance sports performance, both physically and mentally. Within my classes I teach many sports people who gain numerous benefits from the practice of Yoga. Yoga can also be practised for remedial purposes to help overcome sports injuries.
I have been practising Iyengar Yoga for over 30 years and I have been teaching for more than 25 years. I gained my Introductory certificate in 1995 and am qualified to Intermediate level 3. I am currently training for my Senior certificate.
I am a regular visitor to the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune, India, where I am taught by Geeta and Prashant Iyengar. My most recent visit was in 2010. I have completed seven courses at the Institute in Pune.
