LATEST GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES - Rule of 6 From 14th September new rules apply for social gatherings inside and outside, limiting numbers groups of 6 only This DOES NOT apply to our managed and booked activities for sports, leisure and education at our Covid-19 Secure Shrewsbury House, so these can continue. I realise this announcement has concerned many groups especially those with attendance of more than 6, but we have already put in place the necessary measures to protect our staff and our visitors during coronavirus including:
COVID-19 risk assessments for the house and all activities
Reducing numbers to ensure 2m distancing, booking with group leader etc Cleaning more often
Increasing how often we clean touchpoints, using handsanitiser and washing hands
Wearing face coverings In communal areas of the house, and some activities where 2m distancing not possible.
Social distancing 2m in all areas, following instructions around house and one way where possible
Increasing ventilation Keeping doors and windows open where possible
Taking part in NHS Test and Trace Visitor reception and group leaders keep contact details for 21 days Maintaining records of staff, customers and visitors to support NHS Test and Trace
Turn people with coronavirus symptoms away If a staff member (or someone in their household) or a customer has a persistent cough, a high temperature or has lost their sense of taste or smell, they should be isolating.
